Robert Parker Awards 2021
A great start that make us proud
The wine magazine founded by Robert Parker, also known as “The Wine Advocate”, has contacted us to taste two of our wines.
This is an opportunity that we’ve been waiting for a long time! Finally we could have our work to be reviewd by the wine magazine that has written the history!
For this occasion exceptionally, we sent two vintages that were still out of the market. Our Barolo DOCG Bussia Riserva 2015 and the Barolo DOCG Bussia Luigi Arnulfo 2016.

90 Points – Barolo DOCG Bussia Luigi Arnulfo 2016
“The 2016 Barolo Bussia Luigi Arnulfo Proprietario brings us back to one of the most celebrated vintages in recent years. This is a fine and elegant rendition with a full and generous bouquet that is redolent of dried cherries, cassis, grilled rosmary, iron ore and pressed blue flowers. The wine shows a pretty mineral side with crushed limestone. The tannins are nicely integrated and so is the acidity. Production is 8.000 bottles”.

89 Points – Barolo DOCG Bussia Riserva 2015
“This Costa di Bussia 2015 Barolo Bussia Riserva opens up to a dark garnet appereance with some copper highlights. The wine is slightly textured or gritty in terms of mouthfeel, and the bouquet is redolent of dark fruit, plum, spice and tar. This 2015 vintage already shows some initial evolution; the primary intensity will continue to fade in favor of savory elements. But you also feel the solid fruit weight and concentration that came so easily in the hot and sunny season. This is a 10,000-bottle release.”
