Barbera vineyards
A side exposed to west
The largest Barbera vineyard cultivated is on a ridge exposed to the west, on a medium fertility soil, where the clay is lightened by a number of sandstone useful to make this land less fertile. The richness in mineral components favors the balance of grape constituents and imparts flavor.
The vineyard planting was done between 2006 – 2007 and the total area is about 2.5 hectares.
There is also a small portion of Barbera vineyard, surrounded by Nebbiolo grapes, always exposed to the west, more recently planted.
